PEAK Promotion Cup!



With one - third of the CRSA race season in the books we pick up where we left off at last seasons end with Chuck Alessi leading Warren Alexson by a slim ten points. Warren has been out performing all competitors with his on track performance this season to date. This past week’s bonus points for individual team promotions moved the # 19 “Delivery Wagon” back into the lead with some great marketing promotions by team Alessi.

Both Anthony Brennan & Dan Hennessey have had a points per event advantage with the largest & most visible PEAK signage on their front wing but their ride swapping has left them both back in the chase. Brennan has his sights set on the “Big Three” Pinnacle Cup – Orange County Fair Speedway, King of the Can, Rolling Wheels events which is a separate points race and championship with – in the PEAK Cup Championship ! Warren Alexson has another story line he intends on writing, “A clean sweep of both titles” to avenge his second place finish in last years championship race.

There is a lot of racing remaining and dual Championships to be awarded to the most promoted race team. The addition of the new Pinnacle Cup for 2008 gives every team in the CRSA an equal opportunity to gain championship recognition by simply registering and getting that PEAK Racing Equipment or Pinnacle Performance Radiator signage positioned large on your race car where every photographer can get it in his random shots! Remember the Pinnacle Cup starts at the OCFS event and pays cash per performance and there is still plenty of time for every CRSA team to register for the championship chase.

PEAK Racing Equipment “Promotions Cup” points championship returns in support the CRSA for 2008! All teams registered to compete for the “Promotions Cup” in ’08 will earn weekly points toward a season ending championship trophy presentation at the CRSA banquet. To make the championship race even more exciting, in addition for the 2008 season a three race “Pinnacle Champion” will be crowned compiling results from August 2 OCFS, September 13 “King of the Can” & October 11 Rolling Wheels Pinnacle events making this seasons “Promotions Cup” a championship inside a championship with more ways to qualify for the cash awards to be presented this season.

PEAK Racing Equipment are proud sponsors of the CRSA tour events for 2008! We welcome all participants to register for this Championship event. Promotions Cup details are available through series administrators.

Display PEAK Logo on your race car in a visible spot
The larger the PEAK the more points
Any Promotions photos, flyers, video, apparel count
The most visible, largest, most frequent gains the most points that event
Pointing at the PEAK Logo in Victory lane photo is maximum points for that event
Maximum of 55 points for any single event
Promotional Tee Shirts are considered as bonus points [1 time max 25 pts]
Submit as many different PEAK “plugs” as you like [better late then never]
Go out & race, look good and have fun
Points race will be updated per event on CRSA web site

The car that displays the PEAK logo the most times per event gains the most points per event [media, print and /or supplied photos]
The Larger the PEAK logo, the more points
You do NOT have to win the feature to win the PROMOTION Cup points that evening
The 2008 Promotions Cup Champion will receive the “CUP” & $150.00 check
Second place will receive $100.00 certificate
Third place will receive $50.00 certificate
All awards to be presented at the 2008 CRSA banquet
